The Iowa Tent Theatre is a professional non-profit company dedicated to bringing quality tent theatre to Iowa communites. We create a “tent event” that exposes audiences to a unique theatrical experience reminiscent of the tent shows that reached their zenith in the 1920s. Instead of replaying antiquated scripts ITT creates new work based in contemporary forms and styles of physical theatre. ITT's long term goal is to establish a tent theatre company that premieres and tours a new play throughout Iowa during the summer months. ITT productions are family oriented entertainments.
